It's all about the burlap

Awhile back I posted about my vintage shutters find. I was indecisive at the time about adding a burlap cloth to the table. The other night I was flipping through the Ballard Designs catalog and saw a fringed burlap tablecloth on a table similar to mine. I had about 2 yards of burlap in my sewing bin. I decided why not give it a shot. After I did it Tom said it looked great.

I think I’d like to find something a little longer. AKA-hit up the fabric store and buy 5 yards of burlap. But for the time being this works for me. If only I had ironed it. Maybe I can get Tom to do that ;)
